What a way to kick off 2016!
This holiday I spent New Year’s in Punta Cana which is in
the Dominican Republic so it was very hot. Most days we choose to relax by the
pool or the beach but New Year’s weekend we decided to do something a little
bit different.
New Year’s
Day!!! This was the best weekend ever, we went to Adventure Park. We could
choose 5 attractions out of 11 and I picked; zorbing, Segway, swimming in a
lagoon, ultimate zip wiring and super tramp.
Zorbing
Picture a hamster ball that has been
inflated many times, then include a giant hill and then to finish off a very brave
brother and sister. (Yes, I went with my brother, LOL) We were up for some
thrill seeking fun. That was my thrill-seeking zorbing experience that I will
never forget.
What I have learnt from going on a Segway: Balance and
technique is 100% essential for any Segway rider and you will learn seriously
cool skills! It was an incredible feeling to Ride, glide and travel seamlessly
around the adventure park Segway track taking in all the most beautiful sights
Punta Cana has to offer. Stepping….or should I say….Riding into the future has
never been so easy, or so much fun!
Ultimate
zip wire
The zip wire…no, no… The ultimate zip wire!! It was
out of this world, it wasn’t just 1 incredible zip wire it was 10. A course of
10 zip wires you’re destined to have fun, and that’s exactly what it was pure
fun. As you were high up in the sky you could enjoy looking down at all the
different pieces of nature as well as zipping down a wire, what more could you
ask for?
Super
Tramp
This activity had to have been made for a gymnast. You
are harnessed in by staff and then you are safe to soar upwards doing flips,
doing double somersaults has never been so easy. Guess what, even my brother
did one!
Swimming
in a Lagoon
Swimming
in a refreshing, clear water lagoon is exactly what you need after a full on,
fun filled day.
We could dive in, make a splash, especially
as it was only my brother and I in the lagoon. What a fantastic way to cool off
and end the day.
I couldn’t think of a better way to start
2016!
